Like the great Hemingway said to his wife, “Hell Gelhorn, writing is easy! All you do is sit down at the typewriter and bleed.”
After raising four adopted children in the 1980s, then working as a caregiver to elderly patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and hospice care I embarked on my lifelong dream – ghostwriting. It’s been an amazing ride meeting so many wonderful people and traveling around the country. Now along with ghostwriting and co-authoring, I am writing books about the subjects that I truly care about. My pet projects are the wrongly convicted in this country. Many have sat in death row for decades until their cases were finally reviewed and found innocent. I am a member of The Innocence Project. Elder Guardian Abuse is another social ill that I care about. I’m writing a book – Probate Rape – an expose about the crooked judges, lawyers, and court guardians that are stealing our elderly blind and putting their families in poverty. Mental health is an issue that still needs a lot of work.
I’ve had a love affair with books my whole life. Writing was the next natural thing.
As long as you are breathing you have a story to tell. I have met so many amazing people in my career. Every one of them had an extraordinary story to share. So do you. What are you waiting for? Your audience awaits.
